MenSe Oy – Desenvolvimento sustentável

The activities of the company Mense Oy include the planning, manufacturing and maintenance of feed rollers and clearing heads for forest machinery, binding accessories for hoses and storagesystems for fuel and flammables, rubber moldings starting from the planning phase as well as subcontracting activities for the engineering industry.

The company functions include the planning, manufacturing and maintaining of products according to customer demands complying with the authorities’ requirements on machines and equipment.

Short-term goals have been set in respect to both qualitative and environmental aspects paying attention to legislative changes as well. The management of Mense Oy makes every effort to continuously improve the quality and environmental system of the company, to minimize the environmental effects of its activities and to comply with relevant legislative requirements. The qualitative goals aim at improving the production processes and increasing the customer satisfaction. The environmental goals include measures to decrease the environmental load created by the company through the choice of the chemicals used, to optimize the assorting of recyclable materials and to implement energy-saving procedures.

The concept of systematically developing the company activities and its overall operation in conformity with the corresponding regulations is in first place ensured through the input of our skilled and motivated employees. The competence of our personnel is continuously developed in the form of internal and external training.  The working environment and working processes are regularly controlled in respect to their conformity with the applicable legislation though diverse auditing procedures.

Information on the business policy is provided internally in the context of meetings and training related to system evaluation. The policy documentation is internally available on company information boards and externally on company websites. The accuracy of the company policy and its suitability for the organisation is regularly controlled through surveys carried out by the management team of the company.
